Alvy Butler

There are people who have a knack for seeing the good.

An overall disposition that allows for greater perspective, no matter the situation.

Alvy Butler, Jr. is one of those people.

An individual fully committed to his walk with Christ, and equally as such in loving folks as they are. And really, that’s the goal isn’t it?

Love God. Love people.

Seems simple, but…

“The simplest things are often the most difficult to achieve”

Unknown

Alvy and his wife Jacquelyn currently reside in the small town of Peotone, Illinois.

From there, his ministry and contributions have begun to blossom in a real way.

Not only via his blog (which you should check out!), but also in the life he leads; fostering teens, giving back to his community, loving God & loving people.

Some preach it.

He lives it.

Having spoken recently with Mr. Butler, I’ve come upon a few other things as well.

For one, his character is rooted in a purity and genuineness most people don’t have today.

Perhaps it’s a laser focus on what his earthly mission entails, or perhaps it’s the hope he holds for a better tomorrow.

Either way, I admire Alvy.

What’s more, giving (for him) is a form of self love.

In fact, it’s becoming engrained as his default mode of being.

To be a constant blessing to those around.. there’s something to be said for it.

Truth and love become the guiding principles.

And love becomes the standard.

He offers the world a consistent & authentic source of timeless encouragement; acting as a beacon of light, and guiding all who care to listen into deeper relationship with God.

There is nothing pushy or fake about it.

Just good.
